Infused with electronic riffs and 1980's-influenced sonic textures, Flamingos is the tropical glo-fi project of Chris Coulton. The glimmering synths, washed out vocals, and heavily reverberated instrumentation captures the freedom of youth and balmy weather.

Heavily influenced by 1980's pop, Flamingo's debut EP "Night Howl" is about spending time in the 'wilderness’. It represents shedding old skin, and coming into a new light as a changed person. It expresses celebration of growth and new beginnings, both musically and metaphorically for Chris Coulton.

"I feel like I spent some time in a dark jungle, and now I'm back, better than I ever was before. So let's celebrate."
